Animal Guidelines

The WCPSS Health Services Department has updated their Animal Guidelines for Schools board policy. There is now a Parent/Guardian opt out form required for animals in schools. This applies to any vertebrates or venomous animals in the classroom. This form will now be required for the labs that include fish and/or frogs (Kindergarten- Animals 2X2, 1^st grade- Organisms, 4^th grade- Animal Studies, 5^th grade—Ecosystems).
