    Early Release-October 19, Now a FULL day

Friday, October 19, is no longer an Early Release day, as the afternoon time is being used to make-up Inclement Weather days from September.  October 19th is now a FULL instructional day, with a normal 3:45 dismissal time.

    Book Character Dress Up Day

On Friday, October 19 (Track 3) or Wednesday, October 31 (Tracks 1, 2, & 4), students are invited to dress as their favorite book characters.  Please make sure your child dresses appropriately (no revealing clothing, nothing scary, no masks, no weapons, or large items) and wears appropriate shoes for recess and PE.  This is not a Halloween celebration and is an optional activity for those who would like to participate (but if your child’s Halloween costume is also a storybook/comic book character, it’s okay!).

    Book Fair Help Needed

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at our school Oct 16-25 and a special Family Event is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct 24, 2018.  If you are a registered volunteer and have some time to help us plan or conduct our Book Fair, please click here.  Just 1 hour of your time helps in so many ways because the Book Fair can not be run by just the librarian!  Please contact Mrs. O'Hanlon if you have questions about volunteering.  Thank you!
