I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where I attended a large university in the capital city of Santo Domingo and received a law degree. After practicing law there for several years, I immigrated to the United States, where I met my husband, and we have two beautiful children. I also obtained a paralegal certification while raising my children and worked in our church as a Sunday School Coordinator, where I became involved with special needs children. This led me to work part-time at an elementary school in Long Island, New York, where I fell in love with working in special education. I love to cook and spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy working at AES with a fantastic staff and can see the positive difference we make together in the lives of the students.
