Wake Early College of Information and Biotechnologies: Programs of Study
Our Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees are designed to give students marketable skills as the foundation for an evolving career. Students will have opportunities beyond the Wake Tech Certificate to earn additional credits toward the A.A.S. degree.
Optional college courses are available to help complete the A.A.S. degree or meet college goals. 5th-period courses are available after school and include several university transferable credits within the AAS degree. Students can elect to take additional courses in their program of study in the summer, or during the school day to replace WCPSS electives. While our AAS degrees provide marketable employable skills, they are different from University Transferable Associate degrees.
Students will have additional opportunities to work toward completing the AAS degree by becoming full-time college students during the 13th Year, tuition-free.
Focused and motivated students will acquire skills (through certificates, credentials, & A.A.S degree) to advance their education and potential careers.
