This is my third year at Pleasant Grove Elementary. I have been teaching for more than twenty years and have taught all grades Kindergarten through 6th. I received my BA from the University of Hawaii, and earned my Master of School Administration at UNC-Chapel Hill, and am a National Board Certified Teacher. I am originally from Long Island, New York. Transplanted to Hawaii for 15 years, worked in the tourist industry, went to college for education and taught for 5 years. Later, I moved to Durham, NC, to teach and get my Master’s degree. I love to travel and have visited Canada, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and several states in the US. I enjoy my summers with family in New York where I spend quality beach and fishing time.
