Hello!  My name is Mrs. Glenn.  This is my sixth year teaching at Pleasant Grove. I have been teaching 24 years.  I am licensed to teach pre-k to 12^th grade and have taught all of them before, and some more than twice.  I have taught in North Carolina and Virginia Schools.  Presently I have been teaching in Wake County for 9 years.   

I am from Oxford NC.  I attended J.F. Webb High School and later attended NC Central University and graduated with honors.  I received 2 degrees; Elementary Education, and the second degree in English Literature with a minor in Communications.  I am married to Daryl E. Glenn.  We reside in Durham, NC.

We have a Rottweiler dog, Titus, and nieces and nephews that have us wrapped around their fingers.  So much so, that they talked us into taking them to Disney World 8 times.  Needless to say, they are the love of our life.  My favorite thing to do in my spare time is church activities, singing, cooking, reading, interior decorating, and of course traveling.  When I am not teaching, you will find me, my husband and sisters making plans for our family holidays and vacations in and out of the country.

I am excited to be at Pleasant Grove Elementary teaching 3rd grade this year and look forward to getting to know each of you, while working with you and your child.  As Dr. Seuss quoted in one of his books, “ Oh the Places You Will Go”; as I bring forth great learning experiences for your child.
