This is my first year at HCES and I am excited to be joining the Harris Creek Elementary family! I am looking forward to serving the students and families of HCES. I am originally from Wilson County but have been in Wake County for going on 3 years.  I earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Barton College in Wilson and a Master of Social Work from East Carolina University in Greenville.  I have also recently completed the Masters of School Administration post graduate program at Barton College. In practicing social work in the clinical, community, and school settings for over 16 years, I have developed skills in stabilizing families by providing case management and the appropriate community resources.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my youngest two children; my daughter, who I travel all over the state and beyond with for volleyball games and tournaments, and my son, who is leaving soon for college.  I also enjoy live bands with my significant other, reading and taking short beach trips.
