Welcome to our new staff members!
Jordan Poole, Creek Core Specialist:
I am so excited to be teaching the Creek Core class here at HCE.We will be focusing on things like mindful movements (dance, yoga, breathing exercises) & mindful thinking (practicing gratitude/SEL incorporated lessons). My hope is that students will be able to take things learned inside the classroom and apply them to other areas in their life. Whether that looks like practicing grounding techniques or showing kindness and empathy for others- overall we plan to do a lot of moving so they should be relaxed and ready for the day!Gabriela Arroliga, 4th Grade track 4:I was born in Miami, FL and moved to Raleigh when I was 7 years old.I graduated from ECU this past May.
