I am so fortunate to be a part of the Oakview staff.  I started as a substitute in September of 2019 and was asked to join the IA team in March of 2020. I am currently working in first grade have been since 2021. I am honored to say that I was Instructional Assistant of the year for 2023/24.  I work with an amazing team!  Before having my 2 daughters, I taught preschool and Pre-K for many years and was a Daycare director at a local center for a few years.  I attended Elon College, now Elon University, and majored in Spanish with a minor in Education and Psychology.  I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Boston after college.  There, I met my husband and we moved to Holly Springs in 2007.  We have 2 beautiful girls, Megan and Mary,  (9^th and 5^th grade) We also have a gorgeous golden retriever, Macey.  We are a family that loves camping and being on the lake.  I adore tennis, reading, being with friends and spending time with my family!
