Hi, my name is Joanna Cook and I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten at Oakview! I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with you.  This will be my 8th year teaching kindergarten in Wake County.  I attended North Carolina State University where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Mathematics. I live in Holly Springs with my husband, Steven, and our two children, Bryce (8th grade) and Halley (6th grade).  We also have a Cockapoo named Autumn and a Netherland dwarf bunny, Snickers. We enjoy traveling as a family, especially to the beach.  Teaching kindergarten is my dream job and I’m so excited to spend the year with my new little owls!
