Mrs. Montrina Artis

I began as a math teacher at Eastern Wayne High School teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry. While at Eastern Wayne High School, I served as the math department chair. I taught at Eastern Wayne for 7 years before transitioning to Fike High School in Wilson. At Fike High School, I taught Math 1 and served on a variety of committees (School Improvement Team, Avid Team and PBIS Team). After one year at Fike High School, I moved to Clayton and taught at Smithfield-Selma High School. I I received my BA, MAEd, and MSA all from East Carolina University. I recently married my best friend, Myreon and together we share three beautiful children. I am very excited to be a part of the South Garner team.
