Mr. Steve Bissette

Mr. Bissette began his education career as a social studies teacher at Carver High School in Winston-Salem, NC, in 1991.  Mr. Bissette taught, coached a variety of sports, sponsored several clubs, and served in a number of leadership capacities.  In 2002, Mr. Bissette moved to Wake County to serve as a social studies teacher on the first faculty at Middle Creek High School.  Mr. Bissette moved into administration as an assistant principal at Enloe High School and at Daniels Magnet Middle School  Mr. Bissette received his BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, his secondary social studies teacher certification from Appalachian State University, and his MSA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.  Mr. Bissette is very excited at joining the South Garner community and building a phenomenal school.  Mr. Bissette is married to Tara and has two children, Samuel and Grace, that fill up much of his time away from school.
