My name is Kelly Smith and I am the Literacy Coach at Ballentine Elementary.  I have been a part of the Ballentine staff since it's opening in 2002.  Over the years I have been a classroom teacher, instructional coach and instructional resource teacher.  This year I have the priviledge of supporting the classroom teachers as they strive to ensure quality literacy instruction for the students at Ballentine Elementary.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
