Greetings Panther Families,

My name is Altonia Bransome.  I am the PROUD Principal of Jones Dairy Elementary School. I have been at JDE since 2016.  I served as the assistant principal of the school for 3 years, and I have been the principal since July of 2019. Here is a little information about me: 

• Hometown:  Williamston, NC

• Undergraduate degree:  North Carolina Central University

• Graduate degrees:  Educational Technology (NCCU) and School Administration (UNC Chapel Hill)

• I taught 4th, 5th and 6th grade during my years in the classroom. 

• I did my administrative internship at Apex Elementary.  I served as an assistant principal at East Millbrook Magnet Middle School and Jones Dairy Elementary.

• In my free time I love spending time with my family, traveling, making wreaths, and watching The Food Network and HGTV.
