Hello!! My name is Jenna Liberto and I am a 1st grade teacher here at Oakview Elementary.

I was born and raised in Cary, NC and went to school K-12 in the Wake County Public School System. I attended North Carolina State University and got a BS in Elementary Education with a concentration in Science. GO WOLFPACK!! I also had the amazing opportunity to be the mascot for NC State, Ms. Wuf for 3 years. I love watching college football and enjoying the fall weather by our fire pit with friends.

I live in Apex with my husband Jeff and have two kids; Carter who will be in Kindergarten here at Oakview this year 😊 and Ellen who is 3.5 My parents live in the area as well and we love spending time with them. We enjoy taking our boat out at Jordan Lake and spending our down time with our friends. I have two older sisters and 5 adorable nieces and nephews.

This will be my 11th year teaching. I taught 2^nd grade for 3 years, and have taught 1^st for 7 years. I love teaching 1st graders how to read, and I work everyday to encourage my students to be the best self they can be both academically and socially. I am looking forward to a wonderful year together. “
