Mr. Kevin L. Hill

INTERIM PRINCIPAL

Kevin L. Hill retired in 2005 from the Wake County Public School System, where he spent his entire career. He taught high school social studies for 14 years and served as a principal for 14 years. During his career with Wake County, Kevin served as both a teacher mentor and administrative mentor. He also served as President of the Division of Principals and Assistant Principals from 2001-2003. Kevin has held interim principal positions at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, most recently at Forestville Road Elementary.

As a native of Robeson County, NC, and a dedicated educator, I bring a wealth of experience to my role as Assistant Principal at Knightdale High School. My journey in education began with the Public Schools of Robeson County (PSRC), where I had the privilege of serving in various capacities, including 4th and 6th grade teacher, administrative intern, math coach, and assistant principal.
 
During my tenure with PSRC, I have held numerous key roles such as Title 1 Coordinator, Title IX Coordinator, Bus Coordinator, Testing Coordinator, Special Education Administrator, Administrator of Curriculum, and MTSS Coordinator. My involvement in these roles has allowed me to contribute to district-wide initiatives and support the academic and personal growth of students across the community.
 
My passion for education drives me to believe firmly in the potential for success within every student. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the success of Knightdale High School’s students, staff, and community partners. I look forward to working collaboratively to achieve our shared goals and foster an environment where every student can thrive.

Ms. Lauren Bryant

Lauren Bryant is a native of Garner, NC. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy Education (Grades K-12) from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) and her Masters of School Administration from North Carolina Central University (Eagle Pride).
 
Ms. Bryant has 14 years of teaching experience and has previously taught in Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools, Durham Public Schools, and Wake County Public Schools. Ms. Bryant has served on school and district level leadership teams, School Improvement Teams, Response to Intervention and Equity Teams. Ms. Bryant is currently over 9th grade activities, intervention, English and the ESL Department.

Mr. Oshe' Pittman

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Mr. Pittman is honored to be serving as an Assistant Principal at Knightdale High School. He began his career in Duplin County, serving as a dedicated 6th - 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher, and Head Coach from 2018-2021. He then transitioned to Communities in Schools of Cape Fear and served as a PreK-12 Student Support Specialist serving three Title I, PK-8 schools. Mr. Pittman then served as an MTSS Coordinator for Wallace Elementary School PK-8, serving approximately 1200 students. 

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice, and a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in English, as well as a Graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he has obtained his Master of Arts in Education with a Specialization in Teaching, as well as his Master of School Administration PK-12 Add-On Licensure. He is currently enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington as a Candidate for his Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Mr. Patrick Standifer

I am Patrick N. Standifer, a native of New Bern, NC and Assistant Principal at Knightdale High School of Collaborative Design. I attended North Carolina Central University for a Master’s in School Administration. As an alumnus of Fayetteville State University, I earned a Bachelor's of science degree in Biology.

I have been afforded many opportunities in my educational career. I have previously taught at South Garner High School, William G. Enloe Magnet High School and Pamlico County High School. One of my favorite opportunities was traveling to Disney World to participate in a Science Exploration and the Kennedy Space Center, to learn ways to enhance the science experiences in my classroom.

I enjoy teaching and enjoy learning. I believe the educational experience should be enriching and supportive. Learning is essential in life. My passions are student success and college readiness. Ms. Lori Zimmerman

Ms. Zimmerman has over 20 years in public education beginning with her career as a high school science teacher and varsity swimming/diving coach in Western New York. She relocated to the Raleigh area in 2013 and began teaching Earth/Environmental Science at Green Hope High School before completing her internship at Heritage High School and obtaining her MSA from UNC - Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) in 2017.  She has been the proud assistant principal at Carver Elementary since 2018 where she has made education and student wellness a top priority.  Ms. Zimmerman is a passionate advocate for children and families and strives to build positive relationships with all stakeholders in public schools. Ms. Zimmerman is committed to forming lasting partnerships with students, families and community members at KHS for the betterment of our Knights! 

An avid sports fan, in her spare time, Ms. Zimmerman enjoys traveling, training for triathlons, cycling, swimming, golfing, hanging out with her 3 grown children and cheering on her hometown team, the Buffalo Bills!
