Absent: When the child is absent, it is the child’s responsibility to check Canvas, before coming to the teacher asking what we do.

Team Hawks follow Lufkin Road Middle Schools Student Handbook about absences. Canvas is made for in and out of school. Students are able to complete and check on their work when they are absent and check-out early. It is their responsibility not Team Hawks to tell them what is missing and what they missed. Team Hawks will provide for students the necessary tools for them to be successful.

Check-out early: The student is expected to complete any incomplete work and submit it by the due date, unless otherwise noted by the teachers.
