Hello, this is Wade Martin calling with the Friday Storm Report.

 

• The WSHS PTSA would like to invite all families to the first PTSA meeting of the school year on Tuesday, September 10.  Our PTSA meeting is at 6:30 and is held in the media center.  We hope to see you there.

 

• I would like to remind all of our families about our Meet the Teacher Open House that is scheduled for September 11th at 6:30.  This is an opportunity for you to meet your student’s teachers and learn about what will be covered in their classes this semester.

 

• The PSAT will be administered on Wednesday, October 2nd. Click here - WSHS PSAT for more information on registering your student for the PSAT. 

 

• Applications for the National Honor Society are now open.  Students can access the needed information under the Activities section of our website.  The application deadline is September 14th.

 

• We hope to see everyone at tonight’s home football game against Apex Friendship!

• La Asociación de Padres de Familia de la escuela desea invitar a todas las familias a la primera reunión del año escolar, que se llevará a cabo el martes 10 de septiembre. Nuestra reunión será a las 6:30 en la biblioteca. ¡Esperamos verlos allí!

 

• Me gustaría recordar a todas nuestras familias sobre la Noche de puertas abiertas para conocer a nuestros maestros, que está programada para el 11 de septiembre a las 6:30. Esta es una oportunidad para que conozcan a los maestros de sus estudiantes y aprendan sobre lo que se cubrirá en sus clases este semestre.

 

• El examen PSAT se administrará el miércoles 2 de octubre. Para obtener más información sobre cómo registrar a su estudiante para el examen, ingrese a la página web de la escuela.

 

• Las solicitudes para la Sociedad Nacional de Honor ya están abiertas. Los estudiantes pueden acceder a la información necesaria en la sección de Actividades de nuestro sitio web. La fecha límite para la solicitud es el 14 de septiembre.
