Bulldog Bulletin for the Week of 1/25/21

A Note from your School Counselors

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Counseling Google Classroom

Based on feedback, we have created a Counseling Google Classroom for all students. We hope this helps students connect to our resources. You should now see this classroom on your student’s Google Classroom dashboard and they just need to “accept.” This will allow you and your student to book counseling sessions and access our meeting locations with less confusion.

Lunch Bunch Offerings

We are offering optional lunch bunches for all grade levels. This is a time for kids to come say hi, chat, and be social with each other under supervision of BES staff and/or your School Counselors. We will consider adding sections based on interest. We will kick off next week K/1 on Tuesday the 26th, 2/3 on Thursday the 28th, and 4/5 on Friday the 29th.

Counselor Appreciation Week- February 1st-5th

We are so thankful for Mrs. Wooten, Mrs. Sledge and Ms. Smith, as they have been essential in supporting all of our students. Please take time with your student/s to think of ways to celebrate the counselors during the first week of February.

Our district has recently launched a campaign to recruit substitute teachers. Our subs receive training, work flexible hours and earn bi-weekly pay and incentives based on the number of jobs they pick up. If you have an interest in supporting our schools and shaping bright futures, visit to learn more.

Media Center Update

As we begin the 2nd semester, Bulldog Books To Go is back up and running this week!

Students may use Destiny to request books from the library. After they have been pulled and checked out, you will receive an email from Ms. Soder stating that your books are ready for pickup.

Do you have questions about placing holds on library books? Tutorials and directions are posted on our Bulldog Books To Go website. Happy reading!
