Stingray News and Updates

Hello Stingray Families-

We have had a great week at Cedar Fork! On Tuesday we had about 75 families present for our Dine and Discover. Those in attendance enjoyed pizza, chips, and drinks while learning about the importance of making connections with their students. Ms. Gibbs and Mr. Henderson explored ways to communicate and have fun as a family. Thank you to the PTA for hosting!

Yesterday our fifth grade Cedar Fork SingRays performed at the Songs of Hope Benefit Concert in downtown Raleigh. The benefit raised $22,000 to help with the recovery effort in Western North Carolina. We are incredibly proud of our SingRays! Thank you to Ms. Altman for her extra work and to the families for driving the students to this meaningful event!

Transportation Changes

Transportation changes should be made no later than 3:15 pm. Please do not come to the walker door without prior notification of the change. Safety is our number one priority. It takes a lot of organization to get 800 students home safely each day. It is important that communication is clear and timely.

25-26 School Year Registration

Kindergarten registration for next year can be done through the website. Please reach out to Ms. Peters (data manager) for additional information. 

Families interested in registering for next school year can attend a tour on December 5th from 4:45- 5:15. 

YEARBOOK!

This year our yearbook will be created through Treering! This company offers the unique opportunity to order the yearbook in soft or hard cover. Families can also design two individual pages for their child(ren) which is included in the price. Student Survey 

Students in grades 3-5 will be taking a student survey during Second Step/PE starting on November 20th. Parents can access the questions on the survey in English and Spanish. If you would like to opt your child out of the survey, please let your child’s teacher know.
