The Power of Gratitude: Helping Your Child Develop an Attitude of Appreciation
As parents, we want our children to grow up to be kind, compassionate, and appreciative individuals. One key way to foster these qualities is by encouraging gratitude. Gratitude, the act of being thankful and expressing appreciation, is a powerful tool that can have a profound impact on a child's well-being and development.
Cougars Care: Holiday Gift Giving Program
As of last Thursday morning, we still have over 70 gifts that need to be purchased! If you are able, please consider purchasing a gift or two for an Apex Elementary School family. Gift drop off will take place on December 4th, 5th, and 6th. More details and directions are on the sign-up genius. Thank you for helping ensure that all of our families have a happy holiday season! Contact Alison Bowman, abowman@wcpss.net or on Talking Points, if you have any questions.
School Attendance
School attendance is important. Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to learn as well as connect to peers and their teachers. Please take steps to keep your child healthy and send them to school unless they are truly sick. Please see these memos regarding attendance and tips for staying healthy.
