Gratitude Challenge Spirit Week:  We are continuing to show our gratitude for our school community!  We will have a Spirit Week this week in celebration of this.  Please check the schedule below to know how to show up to school:

March 18-22 - Gratitude Spirit Week

Monday Flyers are Grateful (Wear Your PGES t-shirt)

Tuesday Get Hip for Gratitude (Dress like a Hippie)

Wednesday Wear Green for Gratitude

Thursday Peace, Love, and Gratitude (Wear your Tie-Dye or neon colored shirt)

Friday Grateful for a Break (PJ Day)

Assistant Principal:  We are very fortunate to have Mr. Christopher Liles begin his tenure with us as assistant principal on Monday, March 18^th.  Mr. Liles is an experienced administrator, with his most recent experience being at Parkside Elementary.  Be sure to stop by to introduce yourselves and say hello!

Spring Pictures:  Individual and Class photos will take place on Wednesday, March 20^th.  You should have received an order form for class photos and the cost is $10.  You may return the payment in the provided envelope or use the printed information on the envelope to pre-pay online.  Individual student picture proofs will be returned to school in about 3-4 weeks.  You may choose to purchase the desired pictures at that time and return the rest or unwanted pictures and packages to school.

Upcoming Dates:  Please mark your calendars for upcoming end-of-year festivities and activities.  PTA’s Spring Fling is scheduled for April 19^th.  Our school’s field day is scheduled for May 17^th.  5^th Grade’s Promotion Ceremony is scheduled for June 12^th.  All of these events will be here before you know it, so plan accordingly!!

Spring Break:  Students and staff will be on Spring Break from March 25^th-March 29^th.  We welcome all Flyers back into the nest on Monday, April 1^st.
