Positivity Focus for the Week:  Gratitude

PGES Book Fair:  The Book Fair is coming November 13-17 and we need your help. Volunteer to help with preview days, student shopping, or the family shopping events!  We will also have times where you can shop before or after school as a family.  Those times will be:  Wednesday Nov 15^th , from 8:30-9:15 a.m. and Thursday Nov 16^th  5:00-6:30 p.m.  Students are encouraged to wear their pajamas to the evening event and enjoy a few guest readers!

Canned Food Drive:  THANKS for GIVING! In this season of gratitude and giving, our Student Council is holding a Canned Food Drive beginning Monday, November 6 and ending Monday, November 20. Our canned goods will be donated to the Interfaith Food Shuttle of Wake County, which supplies food for the Backpack Buddy Program in the Wake County schools. Canned goods most in demand are fruits and vegetables (no heavy syrups or added salt), beans, tuna, and soup. Whole Grain Pasta and Rice are also needed.

The class with the MOST canned goods donated will receive an Ice Cream Party🎉. Thank you to our PGES PTA for their support in making this happen.

Fall Make-Up Pictures:  Make up pictures for students new to our school after October 5^th, or were absent on this date will be this Friday, November 17^th.  These pictures will be used for the yearbook, so it is important that each student is photographed.
