Parent Education Night-Soaring To New Heights Together:  Thank you for joining us for this special event.  The feedback has been favorable and helpful to our families.  We would like to have a similar event in the Spring.  If you could not attend, please be on the lookout for handouts to come home regarding some of the topics that were presented.

PGES Book Fair:  The Book Fair is coming November 13-17 and we need your help. Volunteer to help with preview days, student shopping, or the family shopping events!

3^rd Grade EL Learning Celebration:  On Tuesday, October 31st, our 3^rd graders will be presenting and sharing their Module 1 EL Projects. Families are invited from 11:45 to 12:15.  The event will take place in your child’s classroom. Students have worked hard on their reading contracts, reading fluency, and learning about different country's challenges of accessing books.

Upcoming Dates:  As a reminder November 1^st,and November 7^th are Teacher’s Workdays.  November 10^th is a holiday.  There will be no school for students on these dates.  In addition, quarter 1 ends on October 31^st.  Please keep in communication with your child’s teacher regarding scheduling a parent-teacher conference for quarter 1.  Report cards are scheduled to go home on November 9^th.
