Dear Parents,
I apologize for not sending this out yesterday – the shortened week threw me off! We are on the countdown for the last 10 days of school. With the end of year comes the End of Grade Tests for our 3rd-5th graders and end of year celebrations. It is very important that our 3rd-5th graders are getting a good night sleep before the test day AND eat a healthy breakfast. The students need to remember their breathing techniques if they become overwhelmed or anxious during the test. They need to breathe and do their best showing what they know. Please talk with your child about the difference between “doing their best and leaning into the work” versus “giving up and guessing.”
If you arrive on campus and there is no place to park in our parking lot, remember that you can park on Darien Drive AFTER 8:30 a.m. You can also park and walk from Highland Church.
Be sure to click on the Lacy PTA and Foundation information link is HERE!
Grateful for you,
Sherri Miller

MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE
If you have a rising Kindergartner, please go to wcpss.net under Enrollment to register your child. You will then receive an email from Mrs. Spooney to set up an appointment to complete the registration process. It is really important for planning purposes for us to have the most up-to-date information about our incoming Kindergarteners.
If you have a change of address or new phone number, please contact Emily Spooney at espooney@wcpss.net
Please contact Emily Spooney, espooney@wcpss.net, if you are not planning on returning to a WCPSS school for the 2024-25 school year.
SAFETY UPDATES
Please refrain from taking a left out of our parking lot in the afternoons during carpool. It is against the law AND it clogs up the exiting of cars.
