        Principal Message

        Dear Families,

Thank you for your patience and grace while we have key staff members out (JeLynn Crane and Jane Tanner). Your words of support have meant so much.

Please speak to your child about expectations around going to the bathroom. Students need to be going to the bathroom, washing hands and returning to class. This is not a gathering place! Thank you!

Please read carefully all of the information below from the PTA and Foundation – there are so many ways to be involved in this special community!

This is a reminder that we do NOT have school on Friday.

Our fourth graders are doing an AWESOME job building their multiplication math muscles while having fun playing math war. We will continue our training (playing multiplication war) Jan 25-26 before moving into our “Show What You Know” in February. Students should have their own set of flashcards for practice on the go. Ask your student to teach you how to play multiplication war! Instructions here:

        Parents, Grandparents, and Volunteers:

Come help train our next Mathletes! All supplies will be provided and it’s an easy way to encourage fourth graders to learn and improve their speed with multiplication facts (through 9x9). We will meet in the Lacy cafeteria from 8-8:30am on Wednesdays and Thursdays from January 18-February 9. This is a quick way to make a big mark on our Lacy Lions as they improve confidence in math that will stay with them throughout their school career. Sign up for as many days as you are available and ask your friends!
