    Principal Message

    Dear Families,

Thank you for following the protocols for when to send your child to school if they have been exposed or are feeling symptoms. Please read the new (they have been revised as of Monday) WCPSS COVID Protocol Policies.

Please contact the COVID Coordinator (919-881-4920 or for all questions, exposures and positive cases in order for attendance to be coded correctly. We will let your child’s teacher know that your child will be out.

Thank you also for your patience as bus drivers are not able to go to work due to COVID and they have a bus driver shortage with no subs. Yesterday we had 4 buses that did not run which impacted our longer carpool line. Thank you for your patience and grace as we navigate these challenges.

Kindness is contagious, and during the month of February we will be challenging our students with acts of kindness seven days a week. This calendar will be posted around the building for students to read every day with the intention of spreading kindness. We hope you see the benefits of this at home as well!

    With gratitude,

    Sherri Miller
