  • Principal Message

    Dear Parents,

Tonight is STEM Night! I hope you can all join us for a fun-filled evening where students can engage in hands-on experiences, presentations and to see the STEM projects. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. All students need to be chaperoned by an adult! For families living at Raleigh Millbanks, the Y bus will be at the Food Lion at 5:15 p.m. to take to Lacy. For those families living at Grand Arbor, there will be a van at the mailboxes at 5:20 and again at 5:30 p.m. The bus/van will take families home close to 7:30 p.m.

A highlight of last week was our Spelling Bee. Congratulations to our Lacy Spelling Bee winner, Collin Dunn! Collin, a 5th grader, will move on to the regional competition next month. Our second-place winner was Julia Hockaday (5th grade) and our third place winner was Rudrani Mukherjee (2nd grade). We are so proud of all the hard work our Spelling Bee participants put into this year’s competition. Many thanks to Cathy Kimble and Amy Leden who organized this wonderful event for our school.

I hope to see you tonight!

Please help us by reminding your child that they must have these put away on Airplane Mode while at school. If you need to reach your child, please go through the Office. If your child needs to reach you, this should be done through the teacher or the office.
