On Tuesday, Jan. 7, PowerSchool notified school systems and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) that a cyber incident that involved unauthorized access to student and teacher data had occurred. DPI is currently working to analyze the North Carolina impact, and to determine which school systems may have been affected. At this time, we do not have confirmation that our district was among the systems impacted. Once we receive more information, we will determine next steps.
