Bus updates As previously shared (link) we are expecting delays to both our AM and PM bus routes with the start of traditional school tomorrow. With the issues related to the "Here comes the bus app" we have created a way to communicate when buses are leaving campus in the afternoon. Please bookmark this link to our website which is where we will post updates on when each bus is loading and leaving campus. Free and Reduced Lunch/Cafeteria updates
Families must apply (or reapply) for free and reduced lunch. If you received it in the past, the benefits will end in October. Please go to https://www.myschoolapps.com/ to apply. Also, the cafeteria is working with a new system. If you notice errors with your child's myschoolbucks account, please contact cafeteria manager Rhonda Amato at ramato@wcpss.net. We thank you for your patience as our CNS staff learns to navigate the new system! Volunteer application can now be accessed from home For this school year, ALL volunteers must RE-REGISTER. This can now be done from home or at school by visiting this link.
Media volunteers are needed The library is looking for volunteers! Students are doing a wonderful job exploring the library and borrowing books. We would love some help getting books back to the library shelves for the next reader to find. If you have a high school student who needs volunteer hours, this would also be a great way for them to do so! If you are interested, please register as a volunteer and contact Ms. Lumb (llumb@wcpss.net). Thank you!!!
Boosterthon is coming and we need your help! Please access the link below to sign up to volunteer for the Boosterthon Fun Run on Friday, 9/8. Registration day is nearly here! On Wednesday August 30th you can register for our Banks Road Elementary Fun Run! Our goal is to raise $25,000 for playground school enhancements, staff appreciation and school clubs. Approve the PTA budget Please access the poll below to approve this years PTA budget. This year's fundraisers include: Boosterthon, Holiday Shop, Spring/Raffle Basket event, and school spirit nights at local restaurants.
