Happy Sunday- we hope you all had a great weekend!
Increase to school lunch prices for the 22-23 school year
Beginning with the 2022-23 school year, full-paid breakfast will be $1.50 and lunch will be $3.00 at elementary schools. At middle and high schools, full-paid breakfast will be $1.75 and lunch will be $3.25. Families still need to complete the 2022-23 meal benefits application, which will be available online at MySchoolApps.com starting July 1. Paper copies will be available for pick up at the school office.
EOG proctors are still needed
We still need parent volunteer proctors- especially for June 21, 22, and 23. If you are an approved volunteer and can spare some time, we would appreciate it SO much! Please access the sign-up genius linked HERE. Please contact Ms. Alford at salford@wcpss.net with any questions.
22-23 calendar and save the dates
We will follow the 4A calendar next year which is linked here. Please note the addition of 6 early release dates that were approved by the Board of Education last week. Also, a reminder that Kindergarten orientation will occur on Tuesday, July 19th from 5:00-6:00 PM and Meet the Teacher for grades 1-5 will occur from 4:30-6:00 on Wednesday, July 27th.
22-23 bus transportation
In preparation for the 2022-23 school year, Transportation sent a message to families via SchoolMessenger, in English and Spanish, on Friday, May 20th. Please check your email to ensure you received information regarding updating/verifying your child's bus status.
Track 1 EOG's start this week
Please help your child to do their best by:
- setting an early bedtime (without electronics) so they can get a full night's rest
- eating a healthy breakfast (we will also have breakfast provided at school)
- getting to school/bus stop early
- attending school each day of testing
- sending in a water bottle
- encouraging them to take their time and do their best
