Happy Monday! Track assignment postcards mailed this week Track assignment postcards are being mailed out this week. If you do not receive your postcard by June 4th, please contact Lora Blankenship at lblankenship@wcpss.net to verify your mailing address. Please note that while we made every effort to return everyone to their original track assignment (and honor track change requests), some changes were necessary to balance class sizes. We truly appreciate your understanding and support! MTYR 21-22 calendar. If your child will not be returning to Banks Road ES next year, please contact the school and ask for Ms. Blankenship, We are working on finalizing staffing assignments and we will need an accurate student number in order to do so. Hotspots Please note that we will need all WCPSS hotspots returned at the end of the school year. We will send out a list of other items that will need to be returned and the process for doing so in next week's Trailblazer Times. Students who are remaining in WCPSS will keep their assigned Chromebooks. Mark your calendar This Wednesday (5/26) is our last ASYNCHRONOUS school day. All students will learn from home. Attendance will be taken during Morning Meeting. Full calendar linked HERE Free lunch for all students continues in the 21-22 school year Breakfast and lunch will be available at no cost to students for the 2021-22 school year. While the district may be able to offer free meals to all students, it is very important for eligible parents to complete a meal benefits application because this data enables schools to obtain funding to provide other important educational resources to benefit students. Other benefits that are issued directly to families that have applied and are eligible for meal benefits may also be available (such as the P-EBT cash benefit). Parents can complete a meal benefits application online at myschoolapps.com. Paper applications also are available at all schools. More: www.wcpss.net/free-reduced-meals.
