WCPSS is proud to announce Letterland 2024

Letterland live characters in Pullen Park

The Wake County Public School System, WAKE Up and Read, Letterland International and the City of Raleigh are proud to annouce that from Monday, May 13 to Friday, May 17, Raleigh's Pullen Park will be transformed into Letterland, celebrating the beloved phonics program utilized by preschool and elementary school students in Wake County.

Throughout the week, different Letterlanders can be found at locations around Pullen Park. Each day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., take part in a scavenger hunt to locate your favorite Letterlanders hidden around the park.

This year, we will be featuring Letterland Activity Nights on May 13 and May 16 from 5 to 8 p.m., where themed activities will be located at stations around the park.

Letterland Activity Nights will allow attendees to get their face inked with Impy Ink, blow bubbles with Bouncy Ben, create crowns with Quarrelsome Queen, ride Clever Cat's carousel and Talking Tess' train, and more.

Parking and admission to the park are FREE (rides are $2.00). Register for Letterland Activity Nights.
