I grew up in Raleigh, NC. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Ecology and Environmental Biology. I worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for 7 years testing human plasma for blood borne pathogens. After the birth of my second child, I became a stay-at-home mom. My family moved to Germany for 6 years, 2013-2019. While living abroad and volunteering at my daughter's school, I decided to go back to school and earn my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.
I love spending time with my family. I enjoy painting, doing house projects, camping, going to the beach, and working on my vehicles.
My husband and our 3 sons moved to North Carolina in 2021 from Buffalo. I taught PE for 12 years. I love to exercise, cook, sew, and take road trips with my family.
