I have a Master of Education in School Counseling from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Shaw University. I have been in education for the past 28 years. I started as an Instructional Assistant in Wilson County and worked my way up to School Counselor.

I am married and have a loving daughter and grandson. I enjoy reading a good book or traveling to the beach in my spare time. This is my third year working as a Wake County School Counselor, and I am very excited about working at Zebulon Elementary. (Go Cougars!)

  • How Can we Help?

We do so many different things here at school! We teach monthly lessons, hold "small groups" each year to target specific skills, and meet one-on-one with students as needed. Our door is always open for our students AND family members! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need support; even if we cannot answer your questions, we will help you find someone who can!
