Ms. Trinity Kelly
Welcome to our school!
As a child from a military family, I moved every three years—an experience that sparked my deep appreciation for education and community. Each new school taught me something different and helped me grow, not just academically, but personally. Being the “new kid” time and again helped me embrace change, develop resilience, and build a deep respect for family and cultural diversity. These early experiences fueled my desire to become an educator and give back the same love, support, and encouragement that my teachers once gave me.
My passion for curriculum and instruction, diversity, cultural responsiveness, and equitable care for all students began over 20 years ago. I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Studies and my Master’s in School Administration from Campbell University. I began my educational career at Triton High School, where I student-taught, became a teacher, and started my administrative journey. As a lifelong learner, I went on to earn an Educational Specialist degree from Wingate University.
I spent nine wonderful years working with elementary students in Harnett County, first as an assistant principal and then as a principal for over six years. Most recently, I served as the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Sanderson High School in WCPSS. Each step in my journey has shaped who I am as a leader and reaffirmed my belief that all students deserve to be known, challenged, and celebrated.
This year, our school theme is “From Little Seeds Grow Mighty Trees.” Just as a tiny seed holds the promise of a towering tree, we believe every child has limitless potential waiting to be nurtured and cultivated. “Rooted in Creativity, Powered by Purpose, and United in Strength,” are more than a motto—they reflect who we are as a school community. We are rooted in the innovative spirit of our staff and students, driven by purpose to ensure every child thrives, and united in strength as we support one another in learning and growing together through leveling up academically, socially, and emotionally.
It is an honor to serve as your principal. I am excited to partner with our Wildwood Forest community to create a safe, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment where everyone belongs and grows together.
Let’s make this a year of growth, strength, and purpose!
Warmly,
Trinity Kelly
Principal
