Hi Falcons!

 

My name is Sarah Policastro, and I’m so excited to be joining the 1st grade team! I grew up right here in Raleigh and earned my degree in Elementary Education (K–6) from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, graduating in 2020. Over the past five years, I’ve taught both Kindergarten and 2nd grade, and I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in 1st grade!

 

Outside the classroom, I love to travel—some of my favorite destinations are Hilton Head and Charleston. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, and cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes—Go Canes!

 

I’m looking forward to a fantastic year full of learning, growth, and fun with my new 1st grade class. Let’s make it a great one!
