I began my teaching career in 2015 as a first grade teacher in Virginia. I moved to North Carolina in 2018 and I’ve been teaching Third Grade ever since! I am a proud Virginia Tech Hokie! While attending Virginia Tech, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I strive to create a safe, loving classroom where students learn and grow every day.

 

I live in Wake Forest with my husband Josh, our son Hunter, and our daughter Julia. When I am not at school you can find me outdoors, exercising, watching sports, or wandering the aisles of the grocery store trying to come up with fun new recipes to make. I cannot wait to see how many mountains we climb together this school year!
