Hello and welcome! My name is Jamie Jones, and I’m so excited to be a 5th grade teacher this year at LPES! I bring several years of experience across various grade levels, but I’m especially eager to begin this 5th grade journey with you.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education from Liberty University and continued my education at Shaw University through the Teacher Certification Program. I’m proud to call North Carolina my home, although I have family spread across other states.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy shopping and building Lego creations in my free time. My favorite part of the school day is simply spending time with my students—I truly LOVE getting to know each of them and building a strong, supportive classroom family.
