• Hello! I grew up in Raleigh and earned my Bachelor’s Degree from NC State University. I later moved to Philadelphia, where I completed my Master’s Degree at Rosemont College and began my teaching career. After returning to North Carolina, I continued working in education and have loved being part of this vibrant learning community.

In the classroom, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where students feel encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and grow both academically and personally. I value strong relationships with families and believe that partnership is key to student success.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, hiking, practicing yoga, and spending time in nature. I’m also passionate about music and hope to learn the cello someday. One of my favorite pastimes is visiting used bookstores in search of well-loved literary treasures.
