• Field Trip Information

    Laurel Park students participate in 1-2 off-campus field trips per year. Field trips are pre-approved by administration before classroom teachers send information to families. 


    Laurel Park prefers families pay for field trips and learning experiences through the Online Payment System. There is a 4% surcharge for paying online. Please provide the exact change if paying by cash. Checks can be made out to Laurel Park Elementary School.


    Most field trips are scheduled for students to leave campus by 9:30 AM and return by 1:30 PM. 


    If your child's field trip is scheduled during their lunchtime, students have the option to bring a bag lunch from home or purchase a bag lunch from school. Contact your child's teacher if wanting to request a bag lunch from school. This request must be made 30 days before the scheduled trip.


    All chaperones must be WCPSS-approved volunteers. See the Volunteer section for more information.
