Ms. Karen Waller, Media Specialist
Hi! I'm Ms. Waller. I am the Library Media Teacher at Timber Drive. This is my 17th year and I teach library media and technology skills in collaboration with the classroom teachers.
Timber Drive Elementary believes in providing open circulation, which means students come to the library to check out books as needed. Students may come in small groups as often as their teacher allows between 8:45-3:40. Classes are planned collaboratively with the grade levels to integrate media and technology skills into the curriculum.
Parents, please help your child memorize their student id# (lunch #) in order to log on to the computers and access software at school.
Kindergarten: 1 book during 1st quarter, 2 books rest of the year
1st Grade: 5 books
2nd - 5th Grade: 5 books plus one magazine
Books can be checked out for two weeks at a time and can be renewed as needed.
