I am honored to be working at Oak Grove Elementary School as a school-based speech-language pathologist. I originally grew up in New Jersey (by the beach) and did my undergraduate studies at SUNY New Paltz in New York. It was there that I earned my degree in International Relations. After college, I was able to work in New York City and Washington, D.C. pursuing environmental protection and non-profit advocacy work. I thoroughly loved my job. After having my children, life gave me a different path. It was then that my passion for communication (specifically autism) led me to pursue a career in Speech-Language Therapy. My family and I moved to North Carolina in 2007, and I have been able to work in Early Intervention, Home-Health and now the school setting. It is an honor to work with the teachers and students at Oak Grove Elementary!
