The SSA nomination window is just around the corner. SSA stands for Single Subject Acceleration. Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) is the practice of placing a student in a higher-grade level in ONE subject area. This type of acceleration is for the purpose of providing access to appropriately challenging learning opportunities in either math or English Language Arts.
The nomination window opens on March 10th and closes on March 28th. A google form which you can find HERE will be available starting March 10th. You will need to scroll down and click on Tracks 2,3,4 and traditional form. Please see below for what this looks like.
- Complete the Central Services SSA Test REquest Form *that aligns with your student's school calendar. Green Hope's is: Tracks 2,3,4 and Traditional Form.
No paper nomination forms will be accepted. If you need assistance, please contact Mrs. Cossa. Please be advised that our testing window is April 11-25th.
On March 10th at 9:30 a.m., Mrs. Cossa will be having a virtual parent meeting to go over SSA testing.
If you are not able to attend the meeting, a recording will be available after the meeting.
