Hey, Leopards!

My name is Gabi White, and I am so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher at Lead Mine Elementary!

I grew up in Raleigh and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from UNC Charlotte. This year is my 13th year of teaching, all of which have been right here at Lead Mine in both second grade and kindergarten. Lead Mine truly feels like my home away from home, and I’m so thankful to be part of this amazing community.

One of my favorite things about teaching is watching the incredible growth children make throughout the year—academically, socially, and emotionally. Each child brings something unique to our classroom family, and I can’t wait to see all they will accomplish!

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, our three children—Riley (13), Wells (4), and Haven (2)—and Moose, our energetic labradoodle. I also enjoy walking, exercising, cooking, listening to country music, relaxing at the beach, and trying new restaurants around Raleigh.
