  • Beta Club

    Beta Club Webpage

    The National Junior Beta Club is an academic honor organization that recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement, promotes strong moral character and social responsibility, encourages service to others, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for students to develop strong interpersonal skills.

    Seventh and eighth-grade students with a GPA of at least 3.5 on last year's final report card are eligible to apply for membership. One component of the application process includes two teacher recommendations attesting to moral integrity, service orientation, industrious attitude, and leadership potential. the student must also complete another component of the application which includes contact information, activities, and awards, etc. Applications for the membership in the 2017-18 school year will be accepted through noon, September 19. Students who miss the deadline are invited to apply next year if still registered at WMMS.

    Informational meetings will be held on September 8, 2017, at 7:45 in the Media Center.  The meeting is not required but is highly recommended so that students will understand the requirements of membership.

    Battle of the Books

    This year's district competition date has been set!  February 17 @ Apex Friendship High School.  Mark your calendars!

    Battle of the Books is open to all students who enjoy reading and LOVE competition. Our information and interest meeting will be held on September 7, 2017 at 7:45 a.m. in the Media Center. Contact Mrs. Walters, faculty advisor, with questions.

    The Builder's Club is an international organization for middle school students with the goal of building character and developing leadership through service activities.

    Junior PBIS

    Junior PBIS is a student organization that supports the goals of West Millbrook's Positive Behavior Support Program. These students take leadership roles in encouging a positive, inclusive, environment for all members of our school community, and plan activities throughout the year to keep positive behavior and a safe, positive environment at the forefront of our thinking.

    Student Council

    The West Millbrook Middle School Student Council is consists of members and officers chosen by the student body.Throughout the school year, the Student Council, working with the advisors, sponsors a variety school dances and other activities in which all students can participate.
