As we look ahead to the upcoming 2025-26 school year, we wanted to ensure that all families had quick and easy access to key information for the new school year. As such, we have created this page to house important information to which families might want access. As more information becomes available in the lead up to the first day for students on Monday, August 25, 2025, we will continue updating this space with information that may be helpful.

Bus Transportation Status
On June 25, Transportation sent families of transportation-eligible traditional calendar students an email detailing their student's transportation status and providing details about requesting transportation or changing transportation status. As was shared in that email, the deadline for traditional calendar students to request transportation or change transportation status and guarantee first-day service is July 14.
- If your student’s current status included in that June 25 email meets your needs for next school year, no action is required.
- If you need to request service or change your current transportation status, go to wcpss.net/busrider and fill out the form requesting transportation.
- If your student is currently assigned to transportation but will NOT need it next school year, please submit the decline bus form at wcpss.net/declinebus.

Join Our PTSA
It's never too early to join the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) and to make a difference in your child’s education! Our school's PTSA plays a critical role in supporting so many components of our school, helping to fund essential programs, sponsoring teacher appreciation events, assisting with facility enhancement projects, and so much more. By signing up, you help to fund these things and many others. If you are able to, we invite you to join to assist us in beating our PTSA membership numbers from last year. School Meal Prices in 2025-26
At a June meeting, the Board of Education approved a 25-cent price increase for school meals for the 2025-26 school year. The increase is necessary to cover rising costs of food, supplies, and wages and benefits for staff. As such, full-paid prices for middle and high schools during the 2025-26 school year will be:
- Breakfast: $2.25
- Lunch: $4

Student Schedules
Counselors and administrators will be working on student schedules over the summer until schedules are finalized the week before school starts on August 25. We anticipate that schedules will be accessible in Infinite Campus (the new system that replaced PowerSchool on July 1) so that families can see student schedules. Please be advised, however, that schedules will be changing non-stop over the summer. As such, please do not be alarmed if you are able to see schedules and things keep shuffling.
Once schedules are finalized, we will share this information with families. We will also have multiple opportunities for students and parents to get schedules. The first opportunity will be on our Floating Meet the Teacher/Schedule Pickup for existing students and New Student Orientation event that will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Students will also receive physical copies of their schedules on the first day of school.

Volunteer Registration for 2025-26
Looking for a way to get involved during the 2025-26 school year? If so, one way you can do this is by volunteering to assist with a variety of activities that come up over the year (e.g., school dances, awards ceremonies, concessions, etc.). To do this, you must be cleared as a WCPSS Volunteer.
Individuals who were approved to volunteer in the 2024-25 school year will simply need to renew their volunteer status during the renewal window between July 1 – October 31, 2025 that will be posted on the WCPSS Volunteer page beginning on July 1. If you were not registered to volunteer this past year, you can always complete your initial application, as well. We would love to have you join us!
