Art Club
Purpose: To have a safe space to express yourself through art, as well as to have stress-free time.

Girls in Stem
Purpose: The WECIB Girls In STEM club aims to empower, educate and prepare prospective women in the STEM field. Girls In STEM plans to provide an insight on female experience in the field, help women gain important networking and career skills, and to be a safe and fun place for both women and men.
How to Join: Anyone who fills out the form to be in this club will be an official member. You must attend at least 3 times a quarter. You must participate in at least 2 planned activities per year.

Key Club
Purpose: Key Club provides students with opportunities to volunteer, lead, and make a difference. Through service projects, leadership development, and collaboration, the club instills social responsibility, creating students to be effective leaders who contribute positively to their communities.
How to Join: Attend announced meetings and pay dues.

Mavericks in the Spotlight
Purpose: Mavericks in the Spotlight will not only give its members a chance to express themselves, but also learn valuable skills they can transfer to their school and professional life. Ms. Gomes and Ms. Kaulfuss will have the opportunity to aid students in their public speaking skills, presenting themselves, and learning how to be kind and respectful to cast members and in the future, co-workers.
How to Join: A Google form will be used for sign-up.

Model UN
Purpose: This club intends to help its members get a global perspective of issues and goals.
How to Join: Sign your name on the physical paper we will have at our table at the club fair and attend the meetings.

Muslim Student Association (MSA)
Purpose: MSA strives to provide a space for Muslim students to feel supported and connected to their peers, and for non-muslims to learn more about the beautiful religion. It is also important to note the MSA welcomes non-Muslim students with open arms as everyone is welcome to join in our activities regardless of their race, religion, or background.
How to Join: Just attend the meetings.

National Honor Society
Purpose: To give practical meaning to the NHS standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
How to Join: 11th and 12th grade students with an unweighted GPA of 3.75 are invited to join in August.

National Technical Honor Society
Purpose: The WECIB NTHS chapter recognizes and rewards excellence in technology and workplace education. We meet monthly for activities that prepare you for post-secondary goals. Joining NTHS offers opportunities for scholarships, connections, and a community in IT, Biotech, and other technological fields.
How to Join: Applications are processed in September and March for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. You need a GPA that’s 3.5 or higher ( unweighted) and at least 1 industry level credential/certification.

Public Speaking
Purpose: The club focuses on helping members clearly articulate ideas, present complex information, and persuade diverse audiences—key abilities for success in the tech field. Through hands-on practice and collaboration, Public Speaking prepares future tech leaders to confidently share their innovations with the world.

Ready, Set, Code
Purpose: This club will be centered around the challenge Ready, Set, App hosted by NCBCE. The club members will form teams to develop a mobile app to solve a problem in the community or school. This is a great opportunity for students with an interest in STEM to take part in and develop skills in programming and teamwork.
How to Join: Come to the interest meeting and find a team you would like to work on your app with.

Science Olympiad
Purpose: Science Olympiad will provide the opportunity to all students to grow their knowledge and gain essential skills. The main role of Science Olympiad will be for students to collaborate with one another in order to competitively test their knowledge.
How to Join: We will upload the information to the daily slide deck and hold an interest meeting. Then, we will hold tryouts to determine who will be on the team.

Purpose: To expand your debate and public speaking skills.

Student Council Association
Purpose: A Student Council is a group of elected and volunteer students working together with an adult advisor within the framework of a constitution or bylaws to provide a means for student expression and assistance in school affairs and activities, give opportunities for student experience in leadership and encourage student / faculty / community

Trading Card Game Club ( TCG)
Purpose: The purpose of this club is to allow students to experience a world of fantasy and wonder while learning critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Yearbook Club
Purpose: Is dedicated to capturing and preserving the memories of the school year through creative and collaborative efforts. Members are responsible for designing, writing, and organizing the yearbook, ensuring it reflects the diverse experiences and achievements of the student body.
How to Join: Students interested in the yearbook club must complete the application which is posted in the morning announcements.

Young Citizens Club
Purpose: To educate members about civic participation, make positive changes in our community through public policy, and provide members with hands-on experience and proof that civic participation is important to our society.
