CLASS OF 2026

 FVHS Senior Information Night

September 9th, 5:30-6:15pm, @ FVHS Auditorium

All 12th grade parents/guardians and students are invited to join us for an informational event to learn about planning for after high school. Topics will include:

• Applying to college
• Scholarships and financial aid
• Sending transcripts
• Letters of recommendation
• ASVAB and the military

College admissions representatives and military recruiters will have tables set up in the cafeteria beginning at 6:00pm. Although the presentation in the auditorium is geared specifically to Seniors, all are welcome to attend and to visit representative tables during our Open House that evening.

 

 

NC COLLEGE CONNECT is a groundbreaking initiative offering direct college admission to eligible high school seniors for the 2025–26 school year! Open to public high school seniors with a weighted GPA of 2.8 or higher who meet course requirements, students will be matched with colleges where they already qualify - no traditional application needed. Eligible students will be notified this fall.  Check out the website to learn more, or attend one of the webinars below.

WAKE COUNTY COLLEGE FAIR

Hosted by WCPSS and the Carolinas Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACRAO), allows high school juniors and seniors to meet with representatives from numerous in-state and out-of-state colleges. Students should bring their own bag to collect brochures and materials, as bags are not provided.
