2025 - 2026 Parking Pass Application
Student parking pass applications are currently CLOSED and will open from July 15 to August 11 for the upcoming school year. This timeframe allows our team to process applications and prepare tags.
Parking is available to 11th and 12th grade students who hold a valid North Carolina driver’s license. (North Carolina DMV website)
Applications will be available on the Fuquay-Varina High School website under the “Students” tab starting July 15, 2025.
Important Reminders Before You Apply:
-
You will be required to upload proof of payment for parking.
- You will be required to upload proof of your vehicle's registration card. (license plate or insurance card will not be accepted)
- You will be required to upload your NC Driver's License. (Learner's Permits are not acceptable)
-
Seniors (12th graders) must have an up-to-date Meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccination on file before a parking pass can be issued. If you are unsure whether your immunization record is current, please email us an updated Immunization Record showing two doses to ensure your documentation is on file and avoid delays.
-
Once your application is processed, parking pass pickup dates and instructions will be sent to your WCPSS student email—please check it regularly for updates and any notices about missing documentation.
-
10th grade students will have the opportunity to apply for second-semester parking in January 2026, if spots remain available.
Please Note:
Student parking on campus is a privilege, not a right. The school reserves the authority to decline, suspend, or revoke parking permits for violations of school rules or traffic regulations. FVHS may also report any violations of motor vehicle laws on campus to local law enforcement.
.
Parking fees are set by the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) and are consistent across all WCPSS high schools. Fees collected are used to support school security, paving, and maintenance of school parking lots across the district—not just at FVHS.
.
Refer to the Wake County Public School Policy Manual for full details.
Student Parking Map/Directions, MUST enter from Ransdell Road.
If your student does not meet the eligibility criteria outlined above, we recommend registering for Wake County Public School bus transportation. You can submit your registration by visiting the following link: https://www.wcpss.net/Page/59726.
