Principal Message December 15, 2024

Dear Dragon Families,

I cannot believe we are in our last school week of 2024! Time flies when you are having fun!

Interim Reports: Interim reports were sent home on Friday. Please take some time to review them with your student.

Newsletter Schedule: This will be our last newsletter of the year. The next edition will be sent on January 5, 2025.

Schedule Update: Please note that January 3, 2025, is now a teacher workday, and there will be no school for students on that day.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Wishing you and your family a safe, joyful, and restful holiday season! Happy 2025!

Ask your student about….

ALL – Are they going to participate in the Holiday Countdown Spirit Week?

6th – Are they ready for their math test this week?

7th –  Are they ready for their ELA and Social Studies test this week?

8th – Ask about JA in a Day – Lots of business partners came in and presented to 8th graders.

Your Proud Principal,

Margaret Feldman

ELF ON THE SHELF IS COMING TO DDMMS

On Monday, an elf will arrive at DDMMS, so sprightly and small,

To bring some cheer to Dillard's halls.

With twinkling eyes and a mischievous grin,

She sneaks around as the day begins.

Is she in the library, reading a book?

Or in the cafeteria, having a look?

Perhaps she's perched by the gym's tall bleachers,

Or helping out in science with curious features.

Each morning she's hiding, so clever and quick,

Her favorite game is playing a trick.

Be on the lookout, could she be in a tree?

Who knows where this elf will next choose to be?
